The special construction of the “plate” for the rear extraction allows the easy use of the extractor between the bearing and the “flange” of the shaft. The spring-controlled centering pin allows the extractor to be easily centered on the shaft. Very good fit during rear extraction reduces the force exerted on the inner bearing ring. The hydraulic piston has a safety valve, which minimizes the risk of overloading the extractor. The 80 mm (3.1 in.) Travel of the hydraulic piston facilitates disassembly with a single movement.
